BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICIES
Important Information
Credit card details are required to confirm your reservation.
If you would like to enjoy a drink in the bar before you are seated at your table, please arrive early, as you will be taken to your table at the time you have booked for.
A discretionary 10% service charge will be added to your bill.
On Saturday evenings we serve our set seasonal menu only. We do always offer a fish alternative main course and a plant based alternative menu for our plant based guests. If you join us for lunch or dinner on any other day, we do have a specials menu available for individually priced courses.
On Sunday we serve our three course Sunday lunch menu only.
We are family friendly and children are more than welcome to join us. Whilst we do not have a children’s menu, we do offer half plate portions for 50% of the price.
Dogs are welcome on our outside drinking area at the front of the pub throughout the day and they are welcome to join you if you dine with us for lunch. We need to know in advance that you are bringing a dog so we can seat you in our dog friendly area. However, we cannot guarantee you a dog friendly table if you turn up on the day.
Please note: We do not allow dogs to join us for our dinner service.
Dietary requirements
It is essential that you inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Whilst we would always endeavour to ensure you can dine with us, we cannot guarantee that we can cater to all dietary requirements without prior notice.
When ingredients are handled in the same kitchen it is impossible for us to guarantee that your dish will be 100% allergen-free.
Large group bookings and private dining:
For bookings of 8 or more, or to enquire about our Private Dining Room please call us on 01254 826 666 or email us on [email protected].
You will be asked for 50% of the menu cost as a deposit for larger group bookings and private dining reservations. Our standard cancellation policy applies.
Cancellation Policy:
In the event of a late cancellation (within 48 hours of your reservation) or you do not fulfil your reservation, you will be charged the full cost of the seasonal menu that is running at that time. Excluding any special events, where the cancellation fee will correlate with the event price per person.
We require full payment up front to secure your booking on certain dates and/or events. These set menus are non-refundable once your payment has been processed.

Payment in advance will be taken in full. These festive set menus are non-refundable. We may be able to organise a transfer of deposit in extenuating circumstances.
